Otro monstruo del soul, Marvin Gaye. Apareció en la escena musical en 1959, y nos dejó muchos temas, sin embargo su carrera no fue un camino de rosas. Su adicción a las drogas, así como le pasa a otros muchos artistas, fue un problema constante al que tuvo que enfrentarse.
Su muerte en 1984 también fue dramática, después de varios intentos de suicidio murió de un disparo por parte de su padre tras una de las muchas discusiones que tenían.
