Suede - Electricity

We got a love that’s cold as stone
We got a love from our violent homes
We got a love and it got no name
We kiss our love with lips like pain
We got a lotta electricity
We got a love like AC/DC
We got a love and it got no shame
We kiss our love with lips like pain

Oh it’s bigger than the universe
It’s bigger than the universe
It’s bigger than the 2 of us
Oh it’s bigger than you and me

We got a love between us and it’s like electricity
We got a love like a violent mind
We get our love from white white lines
We got a love and it got no name

We kiss our love with lips like pain
We got a love from nowhere towns
We got a love like electric sounds
We got a love and it got no shame
We kiss our love with lips like pain

I said, oh it’s bigger than the universe
It’s bigger than the universe
It’s bigger than the 2 of us
Oh it’s bigger than you and me
We got a love between us and it’s like electricity
Oh it’s bigger than the universe
It’s bigger than the universe
It’s bigger than the 2 of us
Oh it’s bigger than you and me
We got a love between us that’s like electricity”

Ray Charles - What’d I say

Ray Charles - What’d I say

Hey mama, don’t you treat me wrong
Come and love your daddy all night long
All right now, hey hey, all right
See the girl with the diamond ring
She knows how to shake that thing
All right now now now, hey hey, hey hey
Tell your mama, tell your pa
I’m gonna send you back to Arkansas
Oh yes, ma’m, you don’t do right, don’t do right
Aw, play it boy
When you see me in misery
Come on baby, see about me
Now yeah, all right, all right, aw play it, boy
When you see me in misery
Come on baby, see about me
Now yeah, hey hey, all right
See the girl with the red dress on
She can do the Birdland all night long

Yeah yeah, what’d I say, all right
Well, tell me what’d I say, yeah
Tell me what’d I say right now
Tell me what’d I say
Tell me what’d I say right now
Tell me what’d I say
Tell me what’d I say yeah

And I wanna know
Baby I wanna know right now
And-a I wanna know
And I wanna know right now yeah
And-a I wanna know
Said I wanna know yeah

[Spoken:] Hey, don’t quit now! (c’mon honey)
Naw, I got, I uh-uh-uh, I’m changing (stop! stop! we’ll do it again)
Wait a minute, wait a minute, oh hold it! Hold it! Hold it!

Make me feel so good now yeah (make me feel so good)
Woah! Baby (make me feel so good)
Make me feel so good yeah (make me feel so good)
Make me feel so good (make me feel so good)
Make me feel so good yeah (make me feel so good)
Huh (huh) ho (ho) huh (huh) ho (ho) huh (huh) ho (ho) huh
Awh it’s all right (baby it’s all right)
Said that it’s all right right now (baby it’s all right)

To er mundo va der cuento

Ben Harper - Diamons on the inside

Ben Harper - Diamons on the inside

El video corresponde a la versión en directo de “Diamonds on the inside” del disco de 2003 que lleva el mismo nombre:

I knew a girl
Her name was truth
She was a horrible liar
She couldnt spend one day alone
But she couldnt be satisfied
When you have everything
You have everything to lose
She made herself a bed of nails
And shes planning on putting it to use
But she had diamonds on the inside
She had diamonds on the inside
She had diamonds on the inside
Diamonds

A candle throws its light into the darkness
In a nasty world so shines a good deed
Make sure the fortune that you seek
Is the fortune that you need
Tell me why the first to ask
Is the last to give every time
What you say and do not mean
Follows you close behind

She had diamonds on the inside
She had diamonds on the inside
She wore diamonds on the inside
Diamonds
Diamonds

Like the soldier long standing under fire
Any change comes as a relief
Let the givers name remain unspoken
She is just a generous thief

She had diamonds on the inside
She had diamonds on the inside
She wore diamonds on the inside
She wore diamonds
Oh - diamonds
She had diamonds
She wore diamonds
Diamonds

Led Zeppelin - Rock and roll

Led Zeppelin - Rock and roll

El tema, en directo:

“It’s been a long time since I rock-and-rolled
It’s been a long time since I did the Stroll
Ooh, let me get it back, let me get it back, let me get it back
mm-baby, where I come from
It’s been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time
Yes, it has

It’s been a long time since the book of love
I can’t count the tears of a life with no love
A-carry me back, carry me back, carry me back
mm-baby, where I come from,whoa-whoa, whoa-oh-oh-hoh
Its been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time
Ah, ah-ah, ah-ah

Hoh, it’s been so long since we walked in the moonlight
a-making vows that just can’t work right
Haw-haw, yeah, open your arms, open your arms, open your arms
Baby let my love come runinng in, a-yeah
It’s been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.

Yeah, hey, yay, hey, yeah, hey, yeah, hey
Ooh, yeah, ooh-ooh, yeah, ooh-ooh, yeah, ooh-ooh, yeah
It’s been a long time, been a long time
Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time”

Si no me hicieran falta tus besos
me tratarías mejor que a un perro
piensa que es libre porque anda suelto
mientras arrastras la soga al cuello.

Querer como te quiero
no va a caber en ningún bolero
te me desbordas dentro del pecho
me robas tantas horas de sueño
me miento tanto que me lo creo.

Si no me hicieran falta tus besos…

Querer como te quiero
no tiene nombre ni documentos
no tiene madre no tiene precio
soy hoja seca que arrastra el tiempo
medio feliz en medio del cielo.

Nina Simone - My baby just cares for me

Nina Simone - My Baby just cares for me

My baby dont care for shows
My baby dont care for clothes
My baby just cares for me
My baby dont care for cars and races
My baby dont care for high-tone places

Liz taylor is not his style
And even lana turners smile
Is somethin he cant see
My baby dont care who knows
My baby just cares for me

Baby, my baby dont care for shows
And he dont even care for clothes
He cares for me
My baby dont care
For cars and races
My baby dont care for
He dont care for high-tone places

Liz taylor is not his style
And even liberaces smile
Is something he cant see
Is something he cant see
I wonder whats wrong with baby
My baby just cares for
My baby just cares for
My baby just cares for me

Original lyrics

My baby dont care for shows
My baby dont care for clothes
My baby just cares for me
My baby dont care for cars and races
My baby dont care for high-tone places

Liz taylor is not his style
And even lana turners smile
Is somethin he cant see

My baby dont care who knows it
My baby just cares for me

My baby dont care for shows
And he dont even care for clothes
My baby just cares for me

My baby dont care for cars and races
My baby dont care for
He dont care for high-tone places

I wonder whats wrong with baby
My baby just cares for
Just says his prayers for
My baby just cares for me

Sum 41 - Fat lip

Storming through the party like my name was el nino
When Im hangin out drinking in the back of an el camino
As a kid, I was a skid and no one knew me by name.
I trashed my own house party cause nobody came.

I know Im not the one you thought you knew back in high school
Never going, ever showing up when we had to.
Is it attention that we crave dont tell us to behave,
Im sick of always hearing act your age.

I dont want to waste my time
Become aother casualty of society.
Ill never fall in line
Become another victim of your conformity
And back down.

Because you dont
Know us at all we laugh when old people fall.
But what would you expect with a conscience so small.
Heavy metal and mullets its how we were raised.
Maiden and priest were the gods that we praised

Cause we like having fun at other peoples expense and,
Cutting people down is just a minor offence then,
Its none of your concern, I guess Ill never learn.
Im sick of being told to wait my turn.

I dont want to waste my time
Become another casualty of society.
Ill never fall in line
Become another victim of your conformity
And back down.

Dont count on me, to let you know when.
Dont count on me, Ill do it again.
Dont count on me, its the point youre missing.
Dont count on me, cause Im not listening.

Well Im a no goodnick lower middle class brat,
Back packed and I dont give a shit about nothing.
You be standing on the corner talking all that kufuffin.
But you dont make sense from all the gas you be huffing.
Then if the egg dont stain youll be ringing off the hook,
Youre on the hit list wanted in the telephone book.
I like songs with distortion, to drink in proportion.
The doctor said my mom should have had an abortion.

I dont want to waste my time
Become another casualty of society.
Ill never fall in line
Become another victim of your conformity
And back down.
Waste my time with them
Casualty of society.
Waste my time again,
Victim of your conformity
And back down.

David Bowie - The man who sold the world

David Bowie - The man who sold the world

El video en directo por supuesto:

We passed upon the stair, we spoke of was and when
Although I wasnt there, he said I was his friend
Which came as some surprise I spoke into his eyes
I thought you died alone, a long long time ago

Oh no, not me
I never lost control
Youre face to face
With the man who sold the world

I laughed and shook his hand, and made my way back home
I searched for form and land, for years and years I roamed
I gazed a gazely stare at all the millions here
We must have died along, a long long time ago

Who knows? not me
We never lost control
Youre face to face
With the man who sold the world

Who knows? not me
We never lost control
Youre face to face
With the man who sold the world

Peter Frampton - Baby I love your way

Peter Frampton - Baby I love your way

“Shadows grow so long before my eyes
And they’re moving across the page
Suddenly the day turns into night
Far away from the city but don’t hesitate
‘Cause your love won’t wait hey
Ooh baby I love your way every day
Wanna tell you I love your way every day
Wanna be with you night and day

Moon appears to shine and light the sky
With the help of some fireflies
I wonder how they have the power shine shine shine
I can see them under the pines
But don’t hesitate ’cause your love won’t wait hey
Ooh baby I love your way every day
Wanna tell you I love your way every day
Wanna be with you night and day uh yeah

But don’t hesitate ’cause your love won’t wait
I can see the sunset in your eyes
Brown and grey and blue besides
Clouds are stalking islands in the sun
Wish I could dry one out of season
But don’t hesitate ’cause your love won’t wait hey
Ooh baby I love your way every day
Wanna tell you I love your way uuhh
Wanna be with you night and day
Ooh baby I love your way every day
Wanna tell you I love your way uuhh
Wanna be with you night and day
